INSPIRE CHANGE AND GROWTH

Where you are is no accident. God is using the situation you are in now, to bring you to the better place you will be tomorrow. Yes, you could have made better choices. But you did what you did, when you did it, because you were not the person you are today. BE STILL MY SOUL

I woke with my chest tight and my heart fluttering this morning. I have been experiencing this since losing my mother on Tuesday July 12th, 2016. There are mornings — and some dead-of-night-moments — when I awake with that anxious fluttering and loneliess in my heart.

The only thing I know to do is pray and listen to soothing music. This morning I was conversing with the Lord in my mind, yet no matter how He assured me, I could not seem to quiet the doubting thoughts or soothe the pain of loneliness in my chest.

“Why?” He asked me. “Why don’t you believe me when I tell you that I have this covered. I will see you through to a better place. Why don’t you believe me? You’ve been in this difficult spot before, and I helped you through. Do you think me incapable of doing it again?”

I’m reminded of something CS Lewis wrote in A Grief Observed. The book is about how his faith was shaken by the death of his wife. He realized by the devastation her death had caused a shaken in his faith in God.

You never know how much you really believe anything until its truth becomes a matter of life and death to you. It is easy to say you believe a rope to be strong and sound as long as you are merely using it to cord a box. But suppose you had to hang by that rope over a precipice. Wouldn’t you then first discover how much you really trusted it?” ― C.S. Lewis, A Grief Observed

I believe God is taking me to a place where I lean less on what I’ve built and more on Him. I still have my friends (thank heavens)! I still have my family and home. If God helped Job rebuild from absolutely nothing, He can help me rebuild now.

 There is a song that has been a lifeline for me  It’s called “Be Still My Soul.” I found this song to captures the emotions I feel in my heart — the hope I long for but having trouble locating. This song gives me that hope … to hang on … to keep looking up. To keep believing that better days lie ahead. Love and Peace. The doctor is on call Dr. JJ ❤️💕

PRAISE TO THE GREAT GOD!

“Give praise to the greatest of your GOD this day.” (Ps. 145:3)

God is so great that our limited human understanding cannot fully figure it out. That is because there is simply too much to grasp!  Yet the reason we praise is because the more we do, the more God’s unsearchable greatness is revealed in our hearts. Little by little, we begin to see Him bigger than our problems and impossible situations.

Pray: Lord, you truly are the Great God! I praise You for who you are today, and as I do, I ask that You reveal to me just how great You are the more. Let me enter into the depth of your wisdom, knowledge, and riches. In Jesus’ Name. Amen

A DAY OF COMFORTING

“Let me comfort you this day, says the Lord. For know that I love you deeply and have come this day to strengthen your mind and your heart in all that concerns you.” (2Thes. 2:16-17)

The Lord knows what you are feeling and facing today, and while you need to build your faith to walk through it. Know God is there to comfort you in time that are particularly tough. The Holy Spirit is called the comforter (John 14:26) Never forget God is a loving Father and He knows there are those times when we need a good hug!

Pray: Holy Spirit, I ask You to comfort me in all things today. Let me experience a comforting presence all around me. I know and believe you love me and there for me in everything. I Love You! In Jesus’ Name.  Amen, Amen, Amen! Thanks be to GOD!

LET ME ASSURE YOU

Today let me reassure you that God knows right where you are, and He knows how to get you to where you need to be. Even when things don’t go the way you planned, His hand is on you. Do not be afraid. Trust that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf, and that He will lead you into the life of blessing that He has prepared for you. Love and Peace. The doctor is on call Dr. JJ❤️

ONLY GOD CAN GIVE WHOLENESS TO A BROKEN LIFE

I’ve learned that when the enemy attacks, God reacts. God doesn’t just sit back and think, “Well, I wonder what’s going to happen. I wonder what they’re going to do.” No, God goes to work. You are His most prized possession. It says in Psalms, “God is close to those that are hurting. God is close to the broken hearted.” God knows when you’ve gotten a bad medical report. He knows when you’re struggling in your finances. He knows when you’re being mistreated. You may not see anything happening, but you can be assured that Almighty God is not only aware, He is at work. He already has the solution. If you will stay in faith, at the right time, He will release a flood of His power, a flood of healing, a flood of restoration. He will not only bring you out, He will bring you out better off than you were before! Love and Peace. The doctor is on call Dr. JJ ❤️

GOD IS SO LOVING, MERCIFUL AND FAITHFUL

Our God is so loving, so merciful, so faithful. Even when we become too discouraged to believe, God does not forget what He promised. Maybe you feel discouraged today. Maybe your life hasn’t turned out the way you had hoped. Maybe you prayed, believed and worked hard, and it didn’t work out. Now you’re thinking, “Hey, I’m never going to be happy again. I’ll never be married. I’ll never accomplish my dreams.”
Remember today, not only does God remember you, He remembers the promise He placed within you. He knows what He’s destined you to do. You may have already said, “Forget it; it’s never going to happen.” The good news is that you don’t have the final say. God has the final say, and He says, “What I started in your life, I’m going to finish.” That dream you gave up on, God didn’t give up on. He remembers you, and He is with you, leading you and guiding you to the place of victory. Love and Peace. The doctor is on call Dr. JJ ❤️

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING

“Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)If there is a common thread that should run through the life of a Christian each day, it’s prayer. Now, that doesn’t mean you refuse to speak to anyone else or that you drive down the road with your eyes closed. But it does mean being ever ready and willing to go before God. Nothing is too small or too big for God to care about. He created you, so why wouldn’t He care about you? You should bathe your life in prayer. Pray for wisdom, peace, and patience. Pray for your marriage, your job, and your children. Pray for other people and circumstances, even when the situation may seem hopeless. Give every person and everything in your life to God in prayer — and they will be in the best of hands! Love and Peace. The doctor is on call Dr. JJ ❤️

PRAYING AND BELIEVING

Have you been praying and believing for something that’s taking longer than you thought? Many times, people can miss God’s best simply because they give up before they see their answer come. Don’t let that be you! Be encouraged today, your answer is closer than you think. If it seems like things are getting more difficult, remember, when the intensity heats up, that means you are closer to your victory. It always seems darkest just before the dawn appears.

Friend, remember, you serve a faithful God. Know that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Don’t cast away your confidence today because your reward is coming. And just like a new mother forgets about her labor pain when she is finally holding her newborn, you’ll forget about your struggle when you are holding your promise.
While you are waiting, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Wake up every morning and declare, “I’ve come too far to give up now. My due season is coming. I will reap my harvest.” Stay in faith and be on the lookout because He has promised you victory, and it’s closer than you think! Love and Peace. The doctor is on call Dr. JJ ❤️

GOD WILL CHANGE YOU

Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand. (Proverbs 19:21).

Even though you may still be operating in old habits, you still have hope of change, but you can’t change yourself. God will change you if you seek Him with your whole heart. Don’t be in a hurry for God to finish working in your life. We want everything done instantly, but God is not interested in our schedule. The enemy may thwart your plans but God’s plans don’t get thwarted, and He has a unique plan just for you. 

“SEEK GOD’S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE. STAY ON FIRE, RED HOT, ZEALOUS. PURSUE HIS PURPOSE FOR YOU WITH EVERY OUNCE OF ENERGY YOU HAVE . THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS WORLD WORTH SEEKING MORE!”
